Daniel F. Nesbitt, Esq.
Mr. Nesbitt is a member of the firm, and holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a J.D. degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, Northern Kentucky University. RONALD J. RICHTER, M.D., Esq. Attorney
Dr. Richter is an associate in the firm and is involved in all aspects of the firm's practice, with concentration in biotechnology and medical devices. Admitted to the Ohio bar in 2001 and registered to practice before the USPTO in 2002, Ron joined Hasse & Nesbitt in March of 2004. Ron graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University with a B.S. in Molecular Biology in 1985, received an M.D. from the University of Cincinnati College Of Medicine in 1989, and then completed an anesthesia residency in 1993, serving as Chief Resident of Anesthesia at Meridia Huron Hospital in. He has also completed fellowships in both cardiothoracic anesthesia and pain management.
Ron received his Juris Doctor degree from The University of Dayton School of Law in 2001. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio Bar Association and the Cincinnati Bar Association, as well as the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) and Cincinnati Intellectual Property Law Association.
Ron was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and went to Elder High School. He currently resides in Loveland, Ohio with his wife Tracee, their dog Paige and three cats, Spencer, Simon and Maddie.

BOBBY D. SCEARCE Attorney
Mr. Scearce recently retired from a successful 24-year career as a Patent Attorney and Chief of the Physics Section in the Intellectual Property Directorate of the Air Force Material Command Law Office, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, where he had primary responsibility for preparation and prosecution of patent applications on Air Force owned inventions, and for the negotiation and preparation of Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs), Cooperative Agreements, and other transaction instruments in the promotion of technology transfer activities in the Air Force, including the negotiation of terms with prospective licensees and preparation of patent, copyright, software and technology transfer licenses affecting Air Force owned technology. Bob also counseled Air Force command personnel and employees in all phases of intellectual property law, including inventions, patents, copyrights, software, rights in data, and licensing, and regularly presented training seminars to Air Force employees on patents, copyrights, licensing, technology transfer and CRADAs.
